This position is hybrid for the Saratoga, NY/Boston, MA areas

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer role:

As a Senior Aruba Network Engineer, you will report directly to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for low-level architectural design, engineering implementation, and support of complex network environments across our mid-market and larger enterprise customers. Clients will include both cb20 Managed Services customers and non-managed project clients.

You will lead the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of core networks, access layers, top-of-rack switching, routing, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, edge equipment, WAN infrastructures, and NAC solutions.

We're looking for someone who is a subject matter expert in Aruba networking, client consulting, and network infrastructure design - and who is also comfortable flexing into other OEM network technologies as customer needs demand.

In this role, you'll work closely with our Project Management Office (PMO) and technical teams to deliver top-tier customer outcomes, act as a mentor and leader within the networking practice, identify and help drive new opportunities within accounts, and stay on the cutting edge of best practices and technologies in the network engineering space.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and deployment of Aruba-based networking solutions (wired, wireless, security, network management)

• Provide hands-on implementation and troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality technical delivery

• Collaborate with our Project Management Office (PMO) and other technical teams to deliver successful projects on time and on budget
Serve as a technical mentor and lead within the networking practice, helping develop less senior engineers

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through strong communication, professionalism, and technical excellence

• Identify additional business opportunities and help drive growth within existing customer accounts

• Stay current with evolving Aruba best practices, tools, and technologies; continuously elevate your expertise

• Participate in pre-sales scoping, solution validation, and client workshops as needed

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, and engineering
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Aruba technologies (including certifications like Aruba Certified Design Expert ACDX , Aruba Certified Mobility Expert ACMX , ACEX, ACCX.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing mid-size to large enterprise network solutions
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across complex network environments
  • Strong collaboration and leadership abilities; able to guide teams and act as a trusted technical advisor
  • Proven experience in customer-facing consulting roles, delivering measurable business and technical outcomes
  • A passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and staying ahead of industry trends
