Purpose

The Senior Application Solutions Analyst provides system support for our specialty pharmacy systems. With the knowledge of SQL, this role provides support to end-users and collaborates with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. The Senior Application Solutions Analyst, analyzes data, develops SQL queries to retrieve information from our databases, and in some cases maintains webpages and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Provides support for our specialty pharmacy systems.
  • Assists end-users with system-related issues and triage.
  • Collaborates with other support analysts to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Develops SQL queries to retrieve information from our databases.
  • Stays up to date with new technologies, programming languages, and industry trends on a consistent basis.
  • Communicates with end-users to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Communicates the statuses of issues and requests to different team members and leads.
  • Creates and maintains different dashboards to share across the organization.
  • Designs and develops components of multi-tiered web applications and web pages.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, help desk solutions or system support.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of software triage processes and methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the pharmacy industry
  • Experience using proprietary project and ticketing software (SharePoint, HelpDesk, ZenDesk, Intercom, etc.).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization programs like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with web application development using HTML, CSS, Java Script, and C (ASP.NET).
  • Experience with client-side web development including interactive online forms.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server TSQL, Web Services, AJAX, JQuery, Visual Studio 2010.
Work Environment
