We're looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Android Developer to join our engineering team. Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (MVVM, Jetpack, etc.).
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and automation.
- Integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries effectively.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Proficient in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, and architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt).
- Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
