About the Role:
Job Title: Senior Android Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team, with a strong focus on building and enhancing mobile applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to discussions on full-stack transitions and backend architecture
- Work with AWS services to integrate and support cloud-based functionality
Must-Have Skills:
- 5 to 10 years of professional Android development experience
- Strong expertise in Kotlin
- Proficient in Jetpack Compose and modern UI development practices
- Experience with AWS and cloud-integrated mobile development
- Comfortable working with HTML and contributing to front-end components
- Understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Location: McLean, IL (Hybrid)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $145K - $175K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
