The Senior Analyst- SAP Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial processes related to Vertex and VIM. The role includes managing invoice processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and optimizing financial workflows.
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing Direct and Indirect Tax processes within the SAP technology environment. This role includes ensuring compliance with tax regulations, supporting tax reporting, and optimizing the use of SAP for tax-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end vendor invoice processing in VIM.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices to maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with the tax department to ensure compliance with sales tax regulations via Vertex.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting regarding invoice discrepancies and resolution.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of VIM and Vertex systems to enhance efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members regarding VIM processes and Vertex tax compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and implement improvements in invoice processing.
- Prepare financial documentation and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations.
- Manage and oversee Direct and Indirect Tax compliance activities within the SAP system.
- Prepare and review tax returns and ensure timely submission for Direct and Indirect Taxes.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data for tax reporting and compliance.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and interfacing with tax authorities as necessary.
- Optimize the SAP configuration for efficient tax processing and reporting.
- Provide training and support to team members on SAP tax processes.
- Analyze tax data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain awareness of changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

Qualifications Education: - Bachelor's degree required.
Experience and Skills: Required: - 5 years of SAP accounting/finance experience is required.
- Experience with SAP accounts payable and tax required.
Preferred skills: - Experience with SAP FICO is preferred.
