Job Description
This Time Operations Lead will be part of geographically dispersed team responsible for processing and correcting time and absence transactions and driving processes for specific countries as assigned (generally smaller, less complex countries), supporting time-related activities, year-end payroll activities, reviewing and verifying files generated internally or by time vendors (GPV), enforcing key time and absence pay practices and time-related deadlines, as well as answering employee/manager queries. Drive the Time regulations and provide updates to leadership periodically on compliance adherence.
- Working with geographically dispersed team to do the following:
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and in different Time tracking/ Absence system to process time & absence and resolve time & absence transactions that are in error.
- Review and validate time and absence requirements and changes
- Support and Manage all Time and related tasks
- Lead Year-End Time and Payroll related processing activities
- Develop and Maintain Process documentation and Training content for Time Tracking & Absence and delivery to end users/ BHR/other stakeholders
- Discover and identify new areas of time related risks with pay practices to adhere to compliance.
- Manage audits of the Operational Time & Absence process and statutory requirements.
- Expertise to perform UKG and WD Time tasks as a Timekeeper, Absence partner as subject matter expert and proactively consult the HR business.
- Support all Time-related escalations for entering, correcting, and approving Time/Time-off and able to relate the impact of time issues to payroll outputs
- Identify and help implement process improvements, including automation
- Ensure timely Time related tasks Audit review, Mass submission, and Mass approval of Time blocks for payroll processing every pay period
- Manage a queue of Time and Absence cases, prioritizing issues based on severity and customer impact.
- Support company-initiated projects (e.g. acquisitions) impacting Time and Absence by supporting as SME with requirement gathering, testing, UAT and production go-live support.
- Lead smaller global, regional and country-specific projects and participate in global project teams.
- Support pre and post payroll activities and payroll audits (eg. Exempt/Nonexempt Term Audits, CA Audit Reports, High Gross/High Net Audits, Zero Net/Zero Gross, Review master data file qualityand confirm time/payroll data completeness, as needed.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- 6+ years of time and absence and payroll operational experience. UKG Pro, Workday Time and other Time tracking systems or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of UKG and Workday Time experience integrating with 3rd party applications.
- Vendor management experience.
- Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills. A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, as well as to get results through collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Good analytical and process diagnostic skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture. Strong spreadsheet and database skills. Continuous improvement orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and requests.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes ingood faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range.
