Senior AIX Administrator with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior AIX Administrator to join a federal program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Senior AIX Administrator will maintain and optimize their AIX environment while ensuring system reliability and security. Responsibilities of the Senior AIX Administrator: Manage and maintain the AIX-based server infrastructure Administer system upgrades, patches, and security updates across AIX environments Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies Perform system backups, server upgrades/maintenance and assist with AIX migration strategies Qualifications of the Senior AIX Administrator: 5+ years of experience in related field Experience with AIX-based server infrastructure & Linux IBM AIX Certified System Administrator certification (preferred) Must hold active secret clearance Compensation of the Senior AIX Administrator: Salary: Between $110,000 - $130,000 based on years of relevant experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO (Paid Time Off), Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 5/2/2025.
