Overview Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? The Mobility Engineer is responsible for implementing designs and approaches for the 2020 Decennial Census. The mobile infrastructure must securely support 300,000 mobile devices. This individual works closely with the Mobility Lead and Lead Mobile Engineer to ensure the mobile infrastructure securely supports and scales for 2018 end-to-end test and 2020 Decennial.
Responsibilities - Will be a subject matter expert assisting with the USCB integrating the various technical aspects of the 2020 Decennial Census mobile data collect efforts with he Apple iOS platform for both iPhones and tablets and AirWatch MDM.
- Support services to include, but not limited to:
- Apple iOS Security
- Apple Developer Enterprise Program Administration
- Apple iOS Device Performance
- Apple iOS Features, Data Transfers, and iOS Updates.
- AirWatch administration (iOS and Win10)
- AirWatch troubleshooting (iOS and Win10)
- AirWatch security (iOS and Win10)
- AirWatch iOS profiles for iPhone and iPad
- AirWatch Windows 10 profiles
- Troubleshooting Errors and Proposing Solutions
- Implements MDM software packages
- Defines profiles and rules for MDM solution
- Implements MAM software packages
- Support DaaS to insure that any GFE platforms are available for contractor
- Experience in developing design requirements for an expansive mobile device management (MDM) system, including mobile configuration management, remote device control, auditing, critical file backup, wiping, data synchronization, firmware updates, diagnostics, security, network usage, mobile asset tracking and management, device provisioning, software installation, policy application, logging, and reporting, GPS tracking and breadcrumb mapping, and geofencing.
- Knowledgeable of Mobile App Stores and able to deploy Enterprise store to support all mobile apps used in the 2020 Census
- Supports mobile app dev teams with usage of MDM and MAM as part of their solutions
- Define the proper controls and mechanisms required for a successful mobile deployment
Qualifications - Experience in IT with major focus on mobile infrastructure and deployment.
