Role Summary: As a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial, you will play a critical role in authoring and reviewing certification documents, coding in C for real-time operating system software, and ensuring compliance with DO-178C software standards. Your expertise will support the SURF-A Honeywell initiative and contribute to the EGPW product line.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Author and review certification documents such as PSAC, SDD, SWCIA, and other OEM-specific documents.
- Perform coding in C at the application level for real-time operating system software.
- Ensure compliance with DO-178C standards throughout the software lifecycle.
- Support the SURF-A Honeywell initiative and potentially other projects like Datalink.
Qualifications: Required: - Extensive experience with DO-178C software standards and lifecycle.
- Proven track record of authoring and reviewing certification documents.
- Strong proficiency in C for application-level coding in real-time operating systems.
Skills: - Technical Skills: Proficiency in C programming and deep understanding of DO-178C standards and software lifecycle.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to author and review complex certification documents.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $75.00 per hour
