The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will work on a team that supports the development of new medical devices and improvements on exciting products. In this role, you will work on a variety of engineering tasks including working on product designs, managing complex projects, developing validation protocols and test methods, and working on continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

The responsibilities of the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing complex engineering tasks
  • Managing technology transfer projects, including project timelines, budgets, and design history files
  • Communicating effectively with surgeons, attending surgeries, and reviewing clinical journals
  • Supporting the sales team and making product adjustments as needed
  • Creating and executing design and process validation reports/protocols (OQ/PQ)
  • Assisting with engineering tasks such as prototype design and test method development
  • Sourcing and installing new equipment (IQ)
  • Participating in project planning, including developing timelines, managing resources, and evaluating results

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical engineering, or a related field of study
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Technical proficiency with Solidworks, Project Management Software and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work on design and validation of medical devices independently
  • Experience with process improvements and process validations
  • Strong project management experience
