Job Summary:

Responsible for greeting clients, admitting/dismissing patients and collecting payment for services. Responsible for reviewing all charges and fee estimates, discussing payment policy with clients and collecting additional deposits when charges exceed original fee estimates. Schedules appointments, answers phones, and communicates necessary messages to faculty/clinicians. Employee will be cross-trained for reception duties in both small animal and large animal reception, business office, and medical records. All other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

High school/GED and three years of clerical/customer service experience.Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as organization skills, multi-line phone skills and the ability to handle/reconcile payments received for services. Must have MS Office experience. Background experience with large animals necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of clerical/customer service experience and completion of Ambassador Program and Leadership Development Program.
