Job Description:

They are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Administrative Legal Assistant to support their Legal department. This role provides high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal leadership, helping ensure the smooth operation of legal functions related to governance, compliance, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will work closely with internal leaders and external partners, helping prepare legal documentation, organize critical filings, and maintain compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize board meeting agendas, draft resolutions, and compile meeting summaries
  • Ensure compliance with internal corporate governance policies and external regulations
  • Collaborate with directors and senior leaders to compile and submit required documentation for accreditations, audits, or government filings
  • Conduct legal research on topics related to HR policy, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Collect, summarize, and organize inputs from departments and directors to support collegiate, legal, or governmental filings

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of legal administrative or paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit environment
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, governance processes, and confidentiality protocols
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and virtual meeting tools
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion
