Senior ADFS and Okta Platform Engineer 4-Day Onsite Requirement (Burbank, Seattle, or Orlando) 6-Month Contract We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in ADFS and Okta. Join our team to drive significant migration projects and enhance our identity management systems.
- Analyze current ADFS usage, document findings, and facilitate a smooth migration to OKTA.
- Assist in sequencing and migrating all M365 dependent applications from ADFS/Entra to Okta.
- Provide clear guidance and documentation to the operations team for the successful decommissioning of ADFS.
- Evaluate existing services/products and design innovative solutions through comprehensive technical analysis.
- Create engineered designs complete with thorough documentation.
- Utilize structured methodologies for technical analyses of products and solutions.
Project Work: - Lead the ADFS to Okta migration by thoroughly assessing the current ADFS environment and identifying gaps.
- Oversee the migration of M365 dependent applications from ADFS/Entra to Okta.
- Document and instruct the operations team on ADFS decommissioning procedures.
Troubleshooting & Support: - Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during the migration process from ADFS to Okta.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to address any vulnerabilities.
- Document all configurations, policies, and procedures for future reference and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-level solutions.
- Expertise in hybrid LDAP solutions, including:
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Microsoft Identity Manager and Active Directory Federation Services / AADC.
- Integrations with various LDAP providers.
- Experience with Okta is highly advantageous.
- Strong background in engineering and integration of infrastructure components and logical aspects.
- Project management experience with large IT initiatives.
- Experience in managing suppliers in an outsourced infrastructure environment.
Education: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $85.00/hr - USD $91.50/hr. Actual compensation will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
