We are currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our team based in Arlington, Virginia, supporting PEO IWS 3.0. This position is hybrid, and requires 3 days on-site in Crystal City (Arlington), VA. What you'll do: PEO IWS 3.0 designs, produces, fields and maintains naval surface weapons systems. The Senior Acquisition Analyst will provide analytical, logistical, and general acquisition support. You will assist in the development of acquisition strategies and implementation of affordability initiatives Responsibilities: Create and maintain acquisition documents Acquisition plans, Class Justification & Approvals (CJA), Statement of Works (SOWs), Technical Instructions, and GFE, etc
Provide procurement support, SPS experience, create and maintain purchase requisition (PR) packages
Support program baseline and scheduling activities, create and maintain deliveries, spend plans and spares deliveries
Develop presentations, meeting minutes, letter and memoranda and tracking action items
Utilize your NEPS experience to track allocations, obligations and expenditures
Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC's clients
Qualifications: Experience creating and maintaining Class Justification & Approvals (CJ&A), Statement of Work (SOW), technical instructions and GFE
Experience in GFE management (receipt, inspection and inventory)
Knowledge of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
Experience using NEPS
Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited in the United States PLUS 15 years of relevant experience. (A master's degree and 10 years relevant experience or an associate's degree and 10 years' experience may be substituted)
Active Secret Security clearance
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
