Senior Accounts Receivable Clerk 6 month FTC - £35,000 to £40,000 Blackburn
Our client is a large and complex business based in Blackburn and we are seeking to appoint a Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a 6 month contract following the change in bank accounts
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Accounts Receivable function
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices
- Ensure all AR functions comply with company policies and financial regulations
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues
- Manage accounts receivable ageing and maintain healthy cash flow
- Drive process improvements within the AR function
- Apply strong leadership skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Utilise a solid understanding of accounting principles to support financial stability
- Handle large volumes of data using Excel
Key Requirements :
- Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, particularly in multi-site operations and in an international company
- Experience in handling invoices is advantageous.
- Demonstrable ability to consolidate and centralise financial processes across various locations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage workloads efficiently.
- Experience in a high-volume transactional environment is preferred
