Senior Accountant - Federal Accounting (Hybrid: D.C., Leesburg, or Tysons Corner, VA)

Location: Hybrid - 2 days on-site in Washington, D.C. (client site), 1 day in either Leesburg, VA (HQ) or the Tysons Corner, VA office Compensation: Up to $120K

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in resolving fatal accounting checks and submitting accounting data in TIER, GTAS, or CARS within required deadlines.

  • Perform sub-ledger and general ledger activities, journal voucher entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

  • Handle payment certifications, invoicing, IPAC transactions, and Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) tasks.

  • Support financial reporting, including property, plant, and equipment (PP&E), capitalization, depreciation, and financial statement preparation.



What We're Looking For:

  • Strong federal accounting experience (DHS-specific experience is a plus.).

  • Familiarity with government financial systems and reporting requirements.

  • Detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
