Senior Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities:



  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements, quarterly forecasts and reviews, and the annual budget.

  • Support the annual financial audit and assist with other audits throughout the year.

  • Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, variance research, and financial analysis.

  • Conduct or review monthly commission calculations.

  • Manage various accounting and business tasks including accounts receivable/payable, property and state taxes, fixed assets, insurance, non-traditional revenue, promotional events, and more.

  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by local managers, CAO, and CFO.

  • Assist with various analytical reports for company executives.




Qualifications:



  • Associate degree in Accounting.

  • At least three years of accounting experience, including experience in preparing financial statements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Eager to learn new software, including MMM business systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills.

  • Team-oriented and willing to support other departments as needed.

Salary:

  • $73,000-$78,000 annually, depending on experience.
