Senior Account for a professional services corporation - South Bend, IN Positive company culture with a growing professional organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA is a plus.
Minimum of five years of accounting experience
Strong systems experience including automating manual processes.
An innovator work style including utilizing AI tools.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes information within the financial statements and completes schedules that support account balances.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts; reclassifying account balances, all while ensuring compliance with Company and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for month end close.
Track project costs and analyze profitability.
Support the management by answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Review and post weekly payroll disbursements and accruals.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Actively seek out improvements amongst the accounting department that improves group performance.
Strive for continuous process improvement.
Budget preparation and management collaboration
Supervise Accounts Payable.
Assist with the annual audit.
