Senior Accountant
SolomonEdwards is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Souderton, PA client's their team on a contract to hire basis. Hybrid work environment; local candidates only.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the organization's accounts payable function, including performance management, accounting, and controls. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst or accountant seeking career growth.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
- Overseeing SOX compliance requirements
- Completing system inventory, AP, and materials purchases reconciliations and accruals
- Maintaining AP and PO dashboard
- Utilizing ERP for costing and revenue configuration
- Handling accounts payable activities that include ensuring accuracy of weekly payment and 3-way match
- Maintaining payment documentation
- Providing supply chain support, including inventory and expense analysis and revenue forecasting
Requirements of the Senior Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Thorough GAAP and/or IFRS proficiency
- 5+ years accounting experience, which includes a background in AP payments processing
- Experience with accounting area process design and implementation
- Experience working with industrial companies
- ERP systems proficiency
- Percentage of Completion Accounting experience
Additional Details:
Salary Range: $40.00-$50.00 / hr
Employment Type: Contract to hire
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
