Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join their team. This role demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, robust problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliations and closing procedures with accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Analyze financial data and solve problems to support informed decision-making.
- Execute accounting projects with precision and accountability.
- Proactively manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork, assisting other departments with accounting-related matters.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting positions such as Staff Accountant or General Ledger Accountant.
- Solid understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong ethical standards and integrity, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive process improvements.
- Strong internal customer service skills, fostering positive relationships across departments.
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
