LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients on peninsula and they are looking to add a Senior Accountant for their office located in Mountain View, California. This position is 100% in-office. The candidate should have 5 years of experience as a senior accounting professional. The role will be responsible for working in the general ledger delivering monthly and quarterly financial statements, financial reporting, preparing monthly entries, journal entries, bank reconciliations, fund reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, reviewing and approving accounts payable invoices, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications for the job include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Software experience with a larger ERP system would be preferred
- Able to work well independently and within a team
- Attention to detail, problem-solver, analytical, and organized
- Strong communications (written & verbal) and customer service
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Advanced, Word & Outlook)
