Position: Senior Accountant

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus and benefits.
My client, a leading construction company renowned for its innovative approach to infrastructure projects, is looking for a senior accountant with a knack for project accounting to bolster its finance team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations related to construction projects, including job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in construction project accounting and managing financial integrity across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting processes for construction projects (job costing, revenue recognition, etc.).
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor project budgets, analyze variances, and provide cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead a small team of project accountants and staff accountants, providing guidance and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in construction, with project accounting expertise.
- Proficient in accounting software (preferably Oneview).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
