We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our organization, including overseeing all accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where innovative thinking, foresight, and detailed-oriented mindset are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all daily accounting operations including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and revenue recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances and prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
3. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
4. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
5. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
6. Use PowerBI to visualize and analyze financial data, generate insightful reports, and assist in decision-making processes.
7. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
8. Work closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings.
9. Implement cost accounting systems and strategies to help guide decision making processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and experience with a software system implementation. Familiarity with PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools is required.
4. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
5. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and procedures.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
7. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
8. High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to direct and supervise.
9. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
