Insight Global is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to join the Technical Reporting Team and Internal Reporting Team within the hospital, a leading healthcare system. Position 1: Senior Cash Accountant - Technical Reporting Team

Details:

  • Salary: $75k-$80k
  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Positions Open: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Cash Manager with cash reconciliation oversight and the development of staff.
  • Complete bank account reconciliation for large accounts and guide staff on smaller reconciliations.
  • Prepare cash journal entries across hospitals with proper documentation.
  • Research and clear/post unidentified deposits/withdrawals.
  • Utilize AutoRec to enhance cash reconciliation efficiency.
  • Perform and/or review GL reconciliations to source systems (EPIC & banks).
  • Develop cash analytics & dashboards to support leadership financial decisions.
  • Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and financial audits.
  • Assist with compliance related to Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting/auditing.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in cash posting & reconciliations.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Current flu vaccine required.

Preferred:

  • CPA preferred.
  • Healthcare & public accounting experience.
  • Adaptability to change & process improvements.
  • Strong communication & leadership skills.

Position 2: Senior Accountant - Internal Reporting Team

Details:

  • Salary: $85k-$95k
  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Positions Open: 2

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
  • Execute journal entries for areas like supplies, subsidiaries, physician expenses, and temporary labor.
  • Work closely with Decision Support & corporate teams to ensure accurate accruals.
  • Conduct monthly close meetings with CFOs and leadership teams.
  • Manage Blackline reconciliations ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Prepare various IRS filings (e.g., Form 990) for hospital and subsidiaries.
  • Provide assistance for annual external audits, budget preparation, and compliance with ICFR.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting & financial reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience preparing financial statements.
  • GAAP knowledge & internal controls expertise.
  • Strong Excel & analytical skills.
  • Current flu vaccine required.

Preferred:

  • Healthcare accounting & general ledger system experience.
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach.
  • Knowledge of IRS 990 filings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
