Job Details

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization through accurate and timely financial reporting, month-end close activities, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in the healthcare sector, be proficient in NetSuite ERP, and have a solid understanding of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and how they interface with financial data.

Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with clinical operations.
Monitor and reconcile transactions related to patient billing and revenue cycle management.
Leverage NetSuite ERP to streamline accounting processes and generate financial reports.
Review and interpret data from EHR systems to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial workflows.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-location healthcare or medical practice setting.
Strong working knowledge of NetSuite ERP and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Deep understanding of GAAP and healthcare-specific accounting practices.
High level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both clinical and administrative teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial dashboards or business intelligence tools a plus.
