New Jersey based CPA firm engaged in public accounting, tax planning and preparation, and financial consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. The firm is dedicated to providing clients with professional, personalized services and guidance in a wide range of financial and business needs. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Income tax review and preparation, tax planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates & trusts
All aspects of client responsibility and contact including write-up, tax projections, planning and business consulting
Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing financial statements
Conducts follow-up research to solve problems encountered or reported during normal compilation/compliance activities
Manage compliance with different requirements not limited to U.S. GAAP and TAX BASIS accounting including OCBOA
Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stockholders, and external parties, such as lenders or vendors
Requirements:
Five to ten plus years related experience in public accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge / proficiency with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite Accounting Software - Ultra Tax
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills
Multitasker with ability to work independently; be self-motivated, flexible and creative
Attention to detail and capability to analyze large amounts of data are a must.
