Our client, a well-established company in El Monte, CA is looking for an Senior Accountant to start right away. This position will be onsite 4 days and week and Fridays off.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and performance summaries
- Analyze financial data to support departmental budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial systems and internal controls
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Create charts, graphs, and presentations for internal stakeholders and executive leadership
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and various year-end reporting initiatives
- Provide documentation and analysis to auditors as needed
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with SQL and financial systems such as Hyperion is a plus
