Senior Accountant

Our client, a full-service fluid power sales and service company , is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team, 100% onsite in Bossier City, LA . The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Bossier City, LA 71112 Salary: $70-75K Base + Benefits Job Function:
•  Perform closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
•  Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
•  Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
•  Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
•  Collaborate with leadership teams to support business operations and decision-making. Required Qualifications:
•  Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience.
•  Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge in SQL preferred.
