Senior Accountant - Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant , you will play a critical role in financial reporting, compliance, and project accounting. Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly funding requests and coordinating closing statements .
  • Managing project transitions , including loan closings and land purchases .
  • Updating budgets monthly and ensuring compliance with operating agreements .
  • Interacting with lenders on draw requests and cash flow calculations .
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and reconciling ledgers .
  • Supporting the in-house property management team and collaborating with auditors .

Senior Accountant - Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting .
  • CPA license required or completion of all four parts of the CPA exam .
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience , including at least 2 years in public accounting (audit or tax) .

Senior Accountant - Key Skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization abilities to manage multiple projects effectively.
