Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee revenue recognition processes, manage general ledger accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls.
- Use ERP systems for accurate financial data management.
- Collaborate across departments to review contracts and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, particularly in revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in GAAP principles and ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Media industry experience is a plus.
