Senior Accountant to support the Controller in overseeing the daily operations of the Finance Department. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the smooth management of essential accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage various general ledger sub-systems, including investments, prepaid expenses/accruals, fixed assets, and accounts payable
Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and financial statement consolidations
Assist in the preparation of monthly board reporting
Perform reconciliations for general ledger and internal accounts
Support internal and external audit processes
Maintain records for investment transactions in accordance with established procedures
Review quarterly sales and use tax returns, and assist with annual personal property tax filings
Oversee employee debit card transactions and expense reimbursements
Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations completed by the Staff Accountant and AP Specialist
Provide training, guidance, and professional development support to the Staff Accountant and AP Specialist
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
