We are seeking a detail-oriented senior accountant to manage financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and customer billing. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting & compliance: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Month-end close: Oversee closing processes, analyze financial data, and reconcile key accounts.
- Budgeting & forecasting: Assist in budget preparation, monitor variances, and provide insights.
- Customer billing & revenue recognition: Manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit & compliance support: Prepare audit schedules and maintain documentation.
- Process improvement: Identify efficiencies and support financial projects.
Qualifications:
- Education & experience: Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or related field; 3+ years of experience; CPA (or in progress) preferred.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite; strong GAAP knowledge.
- Soft skills: Highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
