We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant/Analyst to support the Accounting and Finance Department of our Food Services company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Description

  • As the Senior Accountant/Analyst you will perform and oversee accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Work closely with the GM and report on internal departmental P&L's, as well as work with key clients reviewing external P&L's.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional duties as necessary.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant/Analyst should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience from Food and Beverage production or services is preferred.
  • Have solid core accounting skills as well as experience with budgets, forecast, and month end analysis.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • This role is in office and located in Redondo Beach, CA
