Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their client's dynamic team in California. As a Senior Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager by proactively developing new business and penetration strategies with both new and existing customers. This role also involves assisting the Sales Director in account development, preparing written quotes, and aggressively increasing sales within existing accounts. The position requires a motivated individual who is sensitive to turnaround times and possesses excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities - Follow up on day-to-day customer requests related to new project equipment status, factory readiness, and material pipeline preparation.
- Address factory production issues, WIP status, drawing requests, monitoring cycle times, or basic engineering information.
- Act as an interface to ensure the factory provides up-to-date information back to the customer.
- Prepare and present sales quotes and projections, along with quarterly reviews.
- Coordinate technical support to develop specific account strategies with direct factory interface.
- Maintain a professional image and understanding of the manufacturing process for the products being covered.
Qualifications - BS or BA degree preferred, or 4-6 years of sales experience in a contract manufacturing business environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain practices and key account management.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic math skills and strong organizational and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and function as a team player.
Required Work Hours Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
Additional Details The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000 per year.
