The Senior Account Manager plays a critical role in managing key customer accounts, growing revenue, and strengthening long-term partnerships. This role ensures NAPA is positioned as a preferred carrier through strategic relationship management and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Customer Relations:

  • Develop strategic plans for existing accounts that support long-term growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning customer needs with NAPA's objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and uncover new opportunities.

Business Development & Growth:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
  • Lead contract negotiations that support business growth.
  • Identify and capture accessorial revenue opportunities within customer agreements.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement.
  • Oversee scorecard performance, using data to guide decisions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing key accounts for a transportation company, specifically serving Fortune 500 customers.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex customer operations and align services accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of a customer's organization.
  • Experience leading customer-facing initiatives, business reviews, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to manage performance data and leverage insights to improve service and expand business.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred, including coaching and supporting direct reports.
  • Ability to work in the office.
