About You

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and results-oriented sales professional with a demonstrable "hunter" mentality and a passion for closing deals, particularly within the realm of data or analytics products. You have a strong track record of exceeding sales targets and building lasting client relationships.


A strong understanding of the US oil and gas sector is highly desirable. This includes familiarity with key players, market dynamics, and business challenges within this industry. Candidates with deep knowledge in this area will be strongly favored.


Experience selling data or analytics products into the broader energy markets (e.g., power, renewables) would also be beneficial. However, your core strength lies in your proven ability to identify opportunities, articulate value propositions for data-driven solutions, and successfully close deals.


You are a natural communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder. You are proactive, resilient, and thrive in a target-driven environment. Your experience demonstrates your ability to consistently achieve and surpass sales goals.


The Role

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders across equity markets, commodities markets, and upstream oil operations in North America, with a strong focus on the Houston area.
  • Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities, effectively articulating the value proposition of our client's data and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to develop and deliver impactful sales pitches and presentations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events, actively promoting our product offerings and generating leads.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client needs and provide valuable feedback to the product team to inform future product development.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to successful deal closure, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Contribute to the development of sales best practices and actively share knowledge within the team.
  • Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer playing a key role in driving the company's growth within the US market.
