Location: Hybrid in Carol Stream, IL
Compensation: Base - $60,000 annually (based on experience and Spanish skills)
Incentive Structure: Target variable compensation of additional $50,000-$60,000, bringing total on-target earnings (OTE) to $110,000+ in Year 1.

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Senior Account Executive opportunity for our client, a legacy-rich data and insights provider to the North American produce industry. For over 120 years, this organization has helped growers, distributors, and grocers make informed decisions that power the food supply chain. Now, they're expanding their impact with a modern sales approach-and they need a proven leader to help drive that vision forward. This role is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead full-cycle inside sales efforts, from strategic prospecting to close and onboarding
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to identify pain points and align solutions
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that drive urgency and value
- Prioritize a high-velocity pipeline with average deal sizes under $5K
- Upsell existing clients while breaking into adjacent markets and segments
- Log and manage activity in a modern CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience of B2B sales success, ideally in SaaS, data, or service-based solutions
- Formal training in consultative methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Sandler, SPIN)
- Track record of quota overachievement in fast-paced sales environments
- Strong written and verbal communication, discovery, and closing skills
- Highly organized with a growth mindset and team-first attitude
Performance Metrics & Measurements:
- Monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets with uncapped bonuses for exceeding objectives
- Sales activity metrics (calls, meetings, demos, proposals)
- Strategic pipeline development and client engagement
