Axcis is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in a vibrant Sixth Form setting at a specialist school in Wandsworth. In this rewarding role, you will work with students aged 16-18, supporting their academic and personal development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND, focusing on academic, social, and personal development.
- Assist with personal care tasks as required, including manual handling and peg feeding.
- Support students in managing challenging behaviour and ensure a safe and structured environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create tailored learning plans for individual students.
- Ensure students' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing is prioritized throughout the day.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young adults in their academic journey.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
