Five Education is seeking compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join a variety of schools and specialist provisions across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment where no two days are the same.
Whether you have experience in education, care, or support work-or you're looking to start a new career in SEND-this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to individual needs
- Help pupils regulate their emotions and manage challenging behaviour
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to support EHCP outcomes
Essential Criteria:
- A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability
- Experience in an educational or care/support role (preferred, but not essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- If you don't have a DBS, we can help you apply for one at a cost of £62.70, refundable after 20 working days with us.
