Coba Education is seeking compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in Daventry and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced support staff or those with a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a supply SEN TA, you ll play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. You ll be placed in local primary and/or secondary schools, offering 1:1 support or working with small groups, depending on the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities -
Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

Assist the class teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery.

Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the school day.

Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs.

Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.

Ensure the safety, care, and well-being of all pupils in your care.

Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements -
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or alternative settings).

A calm, patient, and flexible approach to support.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Right to work in the UK.

A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, or SEN-specific training) is desirable but not essential.
