Glasgow - Hybrid (3 days in the office)

FPSG seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / hands-on IT Manager to join a leading company in Glasgow City Centre, responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and securing core systems.

The Senior Engineer / IT Manager will oversee IT systems, policies, and processes across all international locations. Responsibilities include system improvements, planning, deployment, security, and managing multi-site infrastructure.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing IT support across all locations
  • Implementing and maintaining group-wide IT policies and processes (including ISO 27001 and Soc2)
  • Maintaining and improving critical business systems infrastructure
  • Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Microsoft O365
  • Owning infrastructure improvements such as Cloud, SaaS, IaaS
  • Managing suppliers, IT procurement, and operational budgets

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Proven track record in IT infrastructure support and management
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, DNS, O365
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Endpoint Security, RDS, Mimecast, Unified Communications
  • Exposure to Linux, Azure, Intune, Endpoint management
  • Understanding of document and device management, security functions
  • Experience transitioning infrastructure from on-premises to Cloud SaaS
  • Knowledge of IT procurement and operational budgeting
  • Experience maintaining ISO 27001, Cyber credentials, Soc2 standards
  • Ability to manage and set expectations with a highly IT-literate user base

Note: This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days weekly in the Glasgow City Centre office. Travel to other UK and international offices may be necessary. Candidates must meet security requirements, have UK rights to work, and be able to obtain UK security clearances, including BPSS vetting.

Additional: No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Reward: Salary between £50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits including holidays, pension, private medical, insurance, EAP, and study support.
