We are currently recruiting for a Semi Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team in Thetford.
The is working continental shift / 4on 4off Days (Apply online only) / Nights (Apply online only)
With a rate of pay of 16.81 per hour + 10% night shift allowance between (Apply online only) ( 18.49).
Ongoing training courses and support will be provided.
Main Responsibilities: - Carry out plant checks and readings on essential equipment.
- Work efficiently to ensure all mechanical engineering work is completed in a safe manner.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of production lines to identify and implement improvements.
- Carry out machine inspections, conduct relevant repairs or improvements and carry our preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Provide assistance to breakdowns.
Ideal Candidate: - Background in servicing and routine maintenance
- Have experience in a manufacturing / production / heavy industry environment
- Ideally be based within Food Manufacturing
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with production
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Basic operation of machinery
- Knowledge of GMP
- Basic use of hand tools.
