Looking for a strong sales and business development leader in the temporary staffing industry OR someone with contacts and ability to build a temporary staffing business within an existing business and location in this market. $45,000 to $55,000 base salary (negotiable on experience) PLUS COMMISSIONS AND BONUSES. We are looking to hire a goal-oriented Selling Branch Manager to grow and oversee our business in Sarasota. Light and heavy industrial as well as construction staffing is our focus and model. We are also open to financing a unique staffing venture based on a talented professional's contacts and book of existing business.
This role is for a highly motivated individual that operates business with a sense of urgency and has a relentless desire to win. The SBM is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new opportunities as well as leveraging existing relationships. The SBM has a positive attitude, competitive nature and loves to make money while exceeding customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Sell, recruit, hire, train and manage a diverse team of employees. Oversee the Sarasota branch location including local business oversight and ALL branch-level corporate responsibilities. This includes working with Action Labor Corporate Recruiting to hire branch-level staff and find temporary workers for our clients in the area.
- Capability to build and grow a book of business in your own local territory based on sales skills and business strategy.
- Proven experience generating leads from inception to close (pipeline).
- Meets or exceeds weekly goals to bring in new accounts.
- Execute branch sales strategy by sourcing and qualifying new leads, developing our workforce solutions, and pricing and closing orders.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by closing additional up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. Maintaining consistent communication is key.
- Reporting and documentation of strategies used to hit target KPI's.
- Willingness to work with technology to scale process.
Ensure workers are appropriately dispatched to job sites, customer orders are serviced and filled and payouts are timely. At times, you may be required to drive a vehicle to transport temporary workers to job sites or to conduct customer site visits. Create a culture of safety by conducting site visits and meeting with our customers and temporary job seekers. Manage workers compensation claims.
Qualifications:
- Outside B2B sales experience needed. Specific experience within the construction, light industrial, manufacturing, or warehousing business sectors is a plus.
- Staffing Industry experience is a big plus.
- Goal oriented with strong leadership skills.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Previous P&L responsibility highly preferred and/or ability to manage corporate sales and profitability expectations.
