Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Security Specialist Location: Washington, DC Work Type: Hybrid Remote Work: Local to Washington DC area. On-site 20% (In office once or twice a week) Description Gridiron IT is looking to hire a Security Specialist to support a federal government program. Assist in defining requirements, designing and building security components, and testing efforts. Capturing technical implementations from technical subject matter experts and translating and documenting them in a system security plan. Facilitate the six step RMF process using industry standard governance, risk, and compliance tools. Generate mitigation statements for findings and POA&M items and draft appropriate risk acceptance memos. Socialize documents for signatures to stakeholders and work with external data exchange partners and communicate interconnection details (PPSM). Lead internal security assessments for assigned systems and document status of security control implementation. Coordinate external/independent audits including ATO, financial, Zero Trust, and other client initiatives. Skills: Cloud Infrastructure Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) ServiceNow Platform Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation and Benefits Rate: $40.00 - $43.00 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
