Security Specialist Mid with Security Clearance

ManTech seeks a Security Specialist-Mid, in support of our government customer. The Security Specialist provides special access security oversight for the Missile Defense Agency supporting 10,0000+ personnel at numerous geographically separated locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process new incoming Program Access Request (PAR) packages by quality-reviewing the PAR and route PAR for necessary approvals/signatures, tracking via the JADE database and As part of the PAR process, review DD-254s to verify individual's authorization for program access.
Update the JADE database with all incoming Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA) and Debriefing Statements, as well as foreign travel, security violations, derogatory information, etc. Ensure all PARs, PIAs, and Debriefs, are scanned into the JADE database and assist customers as to the status of PAR packages, i.e., checking the database as to status, and/or checking pending folders, reciprocity files, and individual personnel folders
Perform personnel verification actions via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Request Counterintelligence (CI) checks on foreign contacts associated with PAR candidates.
Interact with customers concerning issues on PARs, Risk Assessments, program clearances, and other general information as needed and interact with other PERSEC offices for PAR processing/coordination.
Draft and coordinate Continued Access Eligibility (CAE) request letters.
Issue and track Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) and PSQ templates.
Review, prepare, and/or coordinate SAP and SCI facility accreditation and de-accreditation and coordinate facility accreditation from cradle to grave and control access to meeting rooms.
. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a related field or combination of lower-level education, formal training and experience beyond the baseline is required.
Minimum of three years' experience in personnel security or related field
Capable of developing and implementing a specific security task area or specialty in support of a Special Access program (SAP).
Candidate must be capable of multi-tasking and working in a high-tempo environment. Security Requirements: TS/SCI Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work.
