Job Description As a Security Professional - Aerospace Patrol in Annapolis Junction, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As a Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Flex - On call Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any security-related incidents. Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures. Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management when necessary.
Minimum Requirements: Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance required. Maryland Security Professional Guard Card preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
