Description Markon is seeking experienced Security Operations Specialists to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Office of Space Launch (OSL) in support of its launch integration and operations effort. Responsibilities Provide overall security operations support for all launch-related activities, to include SV transportation and processing, Space/Launch Vehicle integration, launch base operations, monitoring and operation of security and payload processing facility systems, and general security requirements and implementation
Secure, defend, and preserve data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other designated systems by ensuring appropriate security controls and measures are in place, and taking internal defense actions
Integrate cybersecurity into all aspects of engineering and acquisition of cyberspace capabilities including access to system controls, monitoring, and administration Qualifications Required: TS/SCI security clearance with a current Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph, preferrably with the NRO.
General knowledge of NRO/OSL or other relevant IC/DOD policies and procedures
Relevant experience in launch security (physical, personnel, and/or cyber)
Familiarity with government launch security policies, directives and instructions.
Desired: Current/prior experience in the space launch environment
STEM degree Salary Range USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
