12, W2 Contract Office: Mountain View, CA OR Pittsburgh, PA Role Detection and Response team's mission is to identify, contain and eradicate cybersecurity threats in the software, hardware, and services.
Our team is responsible for -
1. Building, testing and maintaining threat detection controls for the Driver & enterprise
2. Building, operating and maintaining a mature Security Operations program
3. Leading investigations of cybersecurity events
We are searching for a Security Operations Engineer with experience in a Security Operations program.
Responsibilities- Monitor, triage and investigate security threats across systems and networks
- Help to continuously improve cybersecurity detection and response operations
- Contribute to Security Operations knowledge base materials (playbooks, runbooks, etc.)
- Track Security Operations KPIs
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and escalations Essential
- Experience working in a Security Operations program
- Familiarity with Cloud Security (AWS)
- Willingness to learn new Security Operations technologies and skills
- Experience triaging and investigating cybersecurity alerts
- Experience with SIEM, EDR and log analysis
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate clearly
- Python coding familiarity Desirable
- SIEM correlation rule tuning and lifecycle management
- Experience conducting training and mentoring for Security Operations and Incident Response
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code
- Metrics/Data Analytics experience
- Experience aligning Security Operations with industry standards including NIST / SOC2 / ISO
Pay range is $40-48 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
