Job Description As a Cleared Security Officer- Armed Aero Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out routine patrols and respond to situations as needed. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities: Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors. Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of the sensitive environment. Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports according to site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address incidents or potential threats.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a Valid Drivers License for more than 1 year. Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas. An active Department of Defense Secret or higher clearance is required. Texas Security Armed Guard Card is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
