Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. The position requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others, demonstrating integrity, and upholding our commitment to people-first values. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the business interior and perimeter. Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior within the facility. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies. Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations that may arise in an aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Must have a Active Texas Security Armed Guard Card (Level 3). Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
